Anaheim Outdoor Science Education Foundation

Our mission is to give children in a low socio-economic setting the opportunity to attend a Outdoor Science Education experience in the San Bernardino mountains.to gain exposure to biology, botany, geology, climatology,ecology,meteorology, astronomy and other sciences. Children gain knowledge and appreciation of natural resources that will benefit, promote and encourage conservation.Interpersonal skills and social skills are developed, as fpr many children this is their first overnight stay away from home. We support all 23 schools of the Anaheim Elementary School District and make scholarship grants to each school based on the number of sixth graders attending.
