San Gorgonio Wilderness Association

We train and equip volunteers to maintain forest and Wilderness areas for recreation use by the public, working in partnership with the USFS. We patrol the Wilderness for permit compliance, and we educate the public in using the recreation in accordance with the Wilderness Act of 1964, that is, keeping the Wilderness in it's natural state without evidence of man's presence.
