GBC Region Inc

The organization's activities will lessen the burdens of government by engaging in activities in the private sector to foster equitable economic civic growth in the city of Baltimore and surrounding counties. The organization will facilitate the location of new industries and encourage expansion and diversification of industries currently located in the Region. The organization will work with underserved communities and increase opportunities for gainful employment and work to provide promising careers for those in the underserved neighborhoods. The organization will also assist the city of Baltimore in planning for improved transportation, activities to renew blighted areas, and will work to expand and renew facilities in the port of Baltimore. In addition, the organization will engage in activities to encourage further development of the arts and music in order to attract more visitors and new residents to Baltimore and surrounding counties.
