Urban Produce Push

Urban Produce Push (UPP) is dedicated to fighting hunger, improving nutrition, and reducing food waste across the Greater Kansas City area. The organization bridges critical gaps in the regional food supply chain by partnering with local farmers, community gardens, and agricultural distributors to rescue, recover, and glean fresh, nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste. Assisted by an extensive volunteer network, UPP successfully delivers hundreds of thousands of pounds of fresh Produce directly to local food pantries, shelters, and food-insecure neighborhoods throughout Missouri and Kansas
