To serve as an organized FIRST responder service in Minnesota, to respond rapidly and effectively to medical emergencies, within our designated service area, to provide out-of-hospital, initial, medical care and basic emergency skills before the arrival of a licensed ambulance service, all in accordance with standards established by the Minnesota State Office of Emergency Management (OEMS), and without cost to individuals served. The nonprofit purpose of this Corporation also includes fostering collaboration, education, and preparedness within our broader community, improving resilience and readiness for emergencies, and providing assistance to other FIRST responder services in other areas of Minnesota as they organize to develop and provide similar nonprofit services.
