To acquire and hold real property associated personalty through purchase, gift or otherwise for the purpose of maintaining and operating such real property and associated personalty for the care of mentally retarded, physically handicapped and developmentally disabled persons in a residential enviroment regardless of race, creed, color or national origin; and to take and hold by bequest, devise, gift, purchase, or lease either absolutely or in trust, for any of its purposes, any property, real or personal.
