Auxiliary to Laredo Medical Center

The purpose of this organization is charitable and civic. The Auxiliary shall promote and advance the welfare of the patients, visitors, and staff of Laredo Medical center. This is accomplished by operating a gift shop and through fund raising activities. At the end of each Fiscal Year, the net profit from the gift shop shall be given to a designated charitable project and the net profit of fundraising activities shall be divided between the scholarship fund and the Auxiliary general fund. Civic duties are fulfilled by staffing courtesy desks throughout the hospital, by providing escort and information services, tray favors for patients meal trays, and through providing assistance with special projects.
