Refuge

Support to Ministries in Honduras and Guatemala that provide support and assistance to children and their families. Refuge operates a resource center, Mission Point Resource Center, in Catacamas, Olancho, that provides educational and teaching material to parents and teachers. Our primary focus is Honduras where we fund a program BECA - which is a scholarship program which supports children to go to public schools with stipends which range from $20 to $100 per month. In 2025 we supported 17 young people. We operated four feeding programs for children which provide two meals per week to approximately 180 children in Jutiquile, La Mansion, Villa Nueva, and Trujillo. We distributed food baskets to needy families, distributing more than 200. A group of 21 traveled to Honduras in June and July 2025 and participated in campaigns with 17 Students from Baxter Institute and poured concrete floors in 3 houses and painted a church building. 4 Seminars were held, including one on Human Trafficking
