Toledo Federation of Musicians AFM Local 15-286

As a trade union of professional Musicians, the Toledo Federation of Musicians serves the needs of Musicians in the area of compensation, working conditions, and a voice in the how things are done. We set minimum rates of pay for Musicians performing casual and continuing engagements in clubs and theaters in our jurisdiction. We enforce contracts made between Musicians and presenters. We also represent Musicians in negotiating collective bargaining agreements for larger employers. When violations of contracts occur and grievances are filed by our members, we seek to resolve these disputes through arbitration or, if need be, legal action. All of our activity is directed towards improving the working lives of professional Musicians.
