ASM Materials Education Foundation

To provide for the advancement of scientific and engineering knowledge through Education, scholorships, grants to enable K-12 teachers to bring Materials, science, and enginerring into classrooms, and grants to material advantage student chapters, and a design competition for undergraduate students. The signature program is ASM Materials camp. This educational outreach program has served over 21,000 high school students and over 15,000 high school science teachers. The program typically involves 40+ hours of lab-based, hands-on instruction, scheduled over 5 days. Both residential and non-residential formats are offered. All programs are provided as a public service at no cost to the participant.
