Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana Inc

Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana exists to serve girls residing within its eleven-county jurisdiction by providing access to the girl scout program and movement in the United States. The organization's primary purpose is to develop girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Through the delivery and management of girl scouting, the council offers inclusive, girl-centered opportunities that foster leadership, life skills, civic responsibility, and personal growth. Programs are designed to empower girls to reach their full potential while building strong values and a sense of community. The organization develops, manages, and maintains girl scouting throughout its jurisdiction in accordance with the governing documents of Girl Scouts of the United States of America. All activities are carried out consistent with the terms of the charter granted by Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
