Moraine House Incorporated

The organization's purpose is to engage in educational, charitable and behavioral modification, counseling, peer mentoring and social welfare activities connected with the rehabilitation of individuals suffering from alcohol addiction and other substance abuse, and to establish, maintain, and operate a halfway House as part of such activities for organization members and families. Policies and procedures are based on the proven 12- step recovery programs. The organization seeks to fulfill this purpose by providing a substance-free, safe, secure and nurturing "family" environment where recovering drug and alcohol abusers can live apart from outside influencers while receiving the peer review, counseling and behavior modification necessary for them to accept responisibility for their choices and actions, thus equipping them to return to private living sites and general society as "clean and sober" productive citizens.
