South Bend Michiana Association of Piano Teachers

To promote the educational and artistic growth of its membership by providing musical enrichment, educational opportunities and social activities for Teachers and students, to promote music in the South Bend area, and to support the objective of the music Teachers national association and the indiana music Teachers association. The association shall not be organized or operated for the benefit of private interests, and no part of its net earnings shall inure to the benefit of or be distributable to its members, officers, or other private individuals except to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered. The association shall not carry on propaganda or otherwise attempt to influence legislation and shall not participate in or intervene in any political activity, including campaigning for candidates or publishing or distributing statements. The association shall not carry on any other activities not permitted by an association exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3)
