Mission Ready inc. (recreation, education, achievement for disengaged youth) equips new havenarea youth and young adults with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to succeed academically, socially, and professionally. We focus on students who are chronically absent, impacted by substance use, or at risk of community violence, providing them with consistent mentorship and positive outlets. Core programs youth mentorship & prevention governors prevention partnership program: one-to-one and group mentoring for middle- and highschool students identified as chronically absent or at risk. Works in partnership with new haven public schools to create referral pathways, track attendance, and reduce substance use and violence. Sports & recreation west haven summer basketball camp and new haven/fame academy camp: six-week summer programs serving 150+ students with daily instruction, team play, and character-building workshops.
