As stated in bylaws:(1)to assoc Builders for the purpose of mutual advantage & cooperation (2)to cooperate w/all branches of the bldg trades industry for the purpose of mutual advantage & for the benefit of the industry as a whole (3)to maintain high professional stds & sound business methods among its members through the enforcement of the code of ethics of the assoc (4)to secure cooperative action in advancing the commom purpose of its members & the proper consideration of the opinions of all its members upon questions affecting the bldg industry within its territorial jurisdiction as well as within il & nationally (5)to support & assist the hba of il and nahb in their legislative & admin activity (6)to attempt to secure all those engaged in the home bldg & construction industry w/in its territorial jurisdiction as members of the assoc (7)to participate for the purpose of mutual benefit in an interchange of info & experience w/all other local affiliates (8)to operate w/out profit.
