To stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening among amateurs; to aid in the protection of Native trees, plants and birds; to encourage civic planting and other civic interests; to provide conservation scholarships to those students having interest in conservation based upon need of students;to donate plants, trees and service in beautifying public buildings and other public places in order to enhance the environment in which we live
