Friends of the DES Plaines Public Library

The mission of the Friend of the DES Plaines Public Library is to stimulate Public interest in the Library, promote literacy, life-long learning and the love of reading for all residents of DES Plaines, IL. It is also to support the activities of the DPPL designed to develop new Library services of facilities, to provide ancillary financial support for project deemed desirable by DPPL board and FDPPL not normally available thru Library. Conventional budget provisions. Programs benefit city of DP community. Programs are for young children to seniors and include reading, lectures, music and arts.
