Indian Center Housing Corporation

The not for profit organization was formed for the purpose of operating a 48 unit community known as the Indian center, located in lincoln, nebraska, which provides Housing for low income elderly persons. The corporation was organized under the not for profit statutes of the state of nebraska. The organization has entered into the standard fha regulatory agreements, which govern the operation of the community, with the federal Housing administration section of hud. A Housing assistance payments agreement (hap contract) with hud provides rent assistance as provided by section 8 program of the national Housing act.
