The sjl education project through the sjl foundation is developing a pilot program to reimagine elementary education that addresses the national crisis of failing public elementary schools by transforming them into institutions equipped with modern facilities, skilled educators, and comprehensive support systems-essential for ensuring that every child, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, can achieve strong academic and developmental milestones. The sjl education project is actively reaching out to state legislators throughout the u.s. To change the framework for addressing educational inequity as a profound civil rights imperative, recognizing how systemic barriers disproportionately impact children from low-income communities and communities of color.
