Effectively combat crime and aid in crime prevention, to provide a better understanding of mutual Police problems and develop improved technical practices for dealing with them; to provide a means to whereby Police Officers may receive the benefit of each others knowledge and experience; to encourage Police Officer to more skillful and efficient in the performance of their duties and to adhere to high professional standards of conduct; to promote and encourage social, economic and educational policies that will enlighten Police Officers and the general public.
