Gratiot Lake Conservancy

GLC Annual Meeting on July 23 included information on the Conservancy's recent land acquisitions, program updates, and newly initiated mapping project. Educational updates were given on issues important to lake landowners and managers including information on lake health monitioring GLC does through the MiCorps and MLSA Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Project. Info was shared on the rise of potentially toxic algal blooms, invasive species monitoring and management in conjunction with Keweenaw Invasive Species Management Area, and other lake issues.
