The fund supports strong Public schools citywide by investing heavily in the talented educators who lead them. In 2024, our programs and partnerships supported 151 school leaders (principals), 193 aspiring principals (assistant principals, instructional leaders, and teacher leaders), and 34 principal supervisors (network chiefs and deputy chiefs) in Chicago's Public schools, impacting 139,000 students across the city. Complementing our targeted programmatic supports, we prioritize broad educator engagement through commitments to our annual principal and assistant principal (ap) engagement surveys and principal and ap appreciation campaigns. As active participants in Chicago's Education community, we also maintain systems and data that inform our programmatic efforts and accelerate improvements for school leaders.
