As part of our mission at the S.E.E.D Center (Social, Economic, Environmental Development), we are committed to fostering growth, healing, and empowerment within our community. This past year has been both fruitful and inspiring, as we have engaged in various projects that align with our core values while addressing the needs of our neighbors. The changing needs of the community due to global shutdowns and schedule changes has made the need for our work and organization more apparent than ever, and we are happy to be of service and making a difference.Garden Project: Bridging Generations and Cultures One of our most recent successful endeavors has been our community garden projects. We have several locations, the largest is nestled in a small town giving snowbird retirees and locals a place to learn, grow and find common ground. In this space, individuals from different generations came together to not only nurture the earth but also build relationships. A unique aspect of this project
