Kids Career Education Center

The Kids Career & Education Center Summer Pathways Program serves underprivileged middle and high school students in Columbus City Schools, with a particular focus on youth from low socioeconomic backgrounds who often face limited access to enrichment opportunities, Career exploration, and academic support during the summer months. The program is designed to close opportunity gaps by providing an intensive 8 week, Career focused learning experience that helps students build clear, attainable pathways for life after graduation. The camp exposing them to careers they may not otherwise encounter due to financial or environmental barriers.Because many participating students have had fewer opportunities for experiential learning, the program incorporates weekly Career aligned field trips that broaden their understanding of the professional world and help them envision themselves in spaces they may not have previously considered accessible. This program will be free to these kids.
