University of Il Savma Chapter

The organization which is chartered as an affiliate of the student American veterinary medical (Savma) works to: a) promote the spirit of friendly relations among the students enrolled in the University of Illinois college of veterinary medicine, b) provide additional opportunities for the members to gain professional knowledge, c) demonstrate the virtues of organized effort, d) build character through the censorship and appropriate discipline of all unworthy actions of its members and the commendation of all worthy deeds, e) make available to the students the opportunities offered by the American veterinary medical association and Savma to its chapters, f) to provide leadership opportunities for students, and g) oversee other Savma organizations at the University of Illinois.
