Rex Dobson Ruby Ellen Farm Foundation

Volunteers and staff continued maintenance to the landscape, structures, equipment and artifacts of the Ruby Ellen Farm. Buildings were examined to determine any needed priority repairs. The greenhouse roof and side panels were replaced. The woodshed roof debris was raked off and the rafters temporarily supported until better access is established. In november, a new priority projects committee was formed to inspect each building and create a list of maintenance/clean-up/re-organization projects that need attention, and to establish the order in which to address these needs, from "immediate" to "can wait a couple of years". Tractor house cleaning and reorganizing continued. More antiques/artifacts and equipment were positioned and identified with informational placard signs for self-guided tours during events. Included in the artifacts positioned were a hand-cranked com sheller, and miscellaneous small farm tools. Dead branches overhanging buildings were trimmed and the debris chipped
