South Lyon Coop Nursery

The South Lyon cooperative preschool provides a nurturing, secure environment for young children and their families. South Lyon cooperative preschool (slcp) came into existence in 1959. Our organization offers parents and children an alternative to traditional preschool programs. It enables parents to actively participate in their child's first educational experiences. The mutual efforts of parents and teachers contributing their time, talents, and ideas, creates a unique environment. This environment also fosters opportunities for members to develop new friendships with other CO-op.
