The dcac fosters and promotes the sport of amateur wrestling at all age levels in the domestic & international styles of wrestling through clinics (one day teaching seminars), camps (multiple date teaching and competition gatherings) and competition-level tournaments. The dcac supports training within the three disciplines of wrestling (freestyle, folkstyle or collegiate discipline, and grecoroman or olympic discipline). Many successful professionals have attributed their success to the work ethic and dedication that they learned while in the sport of amateur wrestling. The dcac will provide opportunities for future generations of athletes to experience and benefit from the skills, dedication and discipline required in wrestling.
