Dermer Dreams is a grassroots nonprofit powered by teenagers to reduce food insecurity. Our mission is to engage students in the fight against hunger and raise one Million pounds of food for people who are food insecure. Dermer Dreams has proven that an effective way to get food to people who are food insecure is through the energy, drive and ingenuity of teenagers and partnerships with local food banks and pantries. Dermer Dreams is a one-stop shop with the knowledge, tools and ongoing support for students to manage their own food drive from start to finish, engage directly with their local community and gain invaluable experience while earning community service hours.
