Global Neurodiversity Support Foundation

The Sports Program is a volunteer-led initiative designed to introduce neurodivergent children to a variety of sports including swimming, badminton, and basketball, in a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment. The program focuses on building physical coordination, social confidence, and enjoyment of movement through structured yet flexible instruction tailored to each participant's unique needs. Swimming is held weekly at the Bellevue Aquatic Center, operating two teams: an advanced team competing in the Special Olympics at the state level, and a beginner team learning foundational swimming skills. Badminton and basketball are held weekly at a local community center. In total, the program serves approximately 75 neurodivergent children and young people, supported by adult and teenage volunteers who provide sports instruction while also fostering participants' social-emotional development.
