The association also supports workplace standards that promoted safe patient and nursing care.the association advocated for full practice authority for advanced practice Nurses, inclusion in Medicaid manual as an authorized provider in Wisconsin. The association provides and supports many educational informational opportunities and preceptor to 7 nursing students to assist professional growth of registered Nurses. This in turn supports the improvement of health standards and the availability of health care services for all people residing in Wisconsin.the association also supported the role of Nurses in the area of chronic disease managment for improving Diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol outcomes.
