Accessibility Equipment Manufacturers Association

A service organization created to foster the development of the Accessibility Equipment industry by engaging in activities and establishing programs to promote the awareness, understanding, acceptance and utilization of Accessibility Equipment. To unite Accessibility Equipment Manufacturers to liaise collectively with Equipment users, architects, building owners, code writers, regulatory authorities, and the elevator industry in general; to gather analyze, appraise, and disseminate information pertaining to the industry, and to serve as a forum for the standardization of Accessibility Equipment operation, terminology, signage and other design aspects to facilitate safety, security and ease of use; to do all things necessary to promote the welfare of the association and its members and to wisely service its members, industry and public.
