Article ii of articles of incorporation: the purpose of this corporation shall be to promote the business and Civic activities of the village of Menahga and the immediate surrounding area; to acquire and disseminate useful business information; to further the community needs in the fields of education, health, recreation, social, charitable and other general welfare needs; to buy, acquire, hold, own, lease or otherwise acquire real and personal property as may be necessary to carry out the purpose for which this corporation is formed, and to do each and every action necessary and incidental to any of the said purposes, and any other lawful purposes.
