The Home Library Project is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to improving early literacy and long-term educational outcomes by helping children build personal home libraries every year Through an evidence-based prevention-focused model the organization provides high-quality high-interest books to children from birth through eighth grade enabling them to develop the skills confidence and enthusiasm needed to learn to read and then read to learn By placing books directly into childrens homes and supporting consistent reading opportunities the organization strengthens early language development kindergarten readiness grade-level reading and long-term academic and economic mobility for children and families
