The organization is a professional society for members that are interested in or are employed in the clinical laboratory field. The organization coordinates and supports multiple scientific and education conferences each year to advance the knowledge and continue education for practitioners in the field of laboratory science. The organization also provides leadership training and mentorship, as well as recognizes members and leaders within the organization and society for their achievements and contributions to the field of laboratory science.
