THIRD Coast Percussion NFP

To bring Percussion music to new stages across the world, presenting concerts on national and international stages as well as the ensemble's home city of Chicago. Performances include repertoire from diverse compositional voices in recitals, multi-media performances, community performances, and collaborations with orchestras, children's choirs and dancers. The grammy award winning ensemble extends its performing through recorded media with commercially released albums and streaming audio/video content, including first recordings of new works as well as iconic Percussion works of the past;to develop new repertoire for Percussion, engaging leading composers and music creators of many backgrounds through a deeply collaborative process to create new works that speak to a range of modern experiences; andto be active in the field of arts education by presenting outreach and educational concerts to primary and secondary school-aged childer, exposing younger generations to music.
