Kimmswick Historical Society

The purpose of this organization shall be: "educational and "scientific" within the meaning of sec. 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. In furtherance of these purposes, the corporation shall develop a planned program of educational & scientific study, protection, preservation, restoration & interpretation of sites & objects significant to our local, state & national culture; encourage & stimulate private owners to appreciate their historic treasures & help them to preserve & restore these important features of our historic heritage; collect & preserve in safe-keeping any & all articles & data of Historical interest connected specifically with the town of Kimmswick; encourage the protection & preservation of Historical sites; encourage appreciation of our historic heritage by educational programs; encourage Historical research relevant to the early settlers of the town of Kimmswick; provide assistance & consultation in governmental agencies in historic conservation.
