To encourage and support the delivery of high quality and affordable health care in the St. Louis region; to provide information and analysis on health care policy, the quality and availability of health care, and health care economics for the benefit of the general public; to engage in charitable, scientific, and educational activities in furtherance of the foregoing; and to receive contributions and grants to make distributions thereof for the foregoing purposes.
