The Kitchen, inc. brings stability and purpose to people who are homeless. The Kitchen has made the affirmative decision to focus on five primary areas: 1. Developing affordable housing: the Kitchen believes that safe, decent, and affordable housing is a prerequisite to preventing future homelessness and ensuring that households exiting homelessness have the opportunity for long-term stable housing. 2. Community housing: for individuals and families working to end their homelessness, placement in integrated community housing is vital to long- term success and stability. 3.
