The New Haven Preservation Society

The New Haven Preservation society, inc is a non-profit organization whose purpose shall be: 1. To promote the concept of historic Preservation in the New Haven community through educational and informational activities 2. To research and identify the historically significant architectural structures, documents, artifacts and traditions of the New Haven community. 3. To assist in the development of an ongoing and comprehensive community plan for the Preservation and restoration of the historically significant properties. 4. To encourage protective zoning and ordinances that serve to protect historically significant buildings. 5. To encourage the Preservation of designated historically significant properties, documents, artifacts and traditions within the New Haven community. 6. To maintain the historically significant properties, building, documents, artifacts leased or owned by the New Haven Preservation society, inc. 7.
