SOS transports homeless animals to various humane societies mostly in the Quad Cities and Chicago IL metro areas in order for them to be rehomed. We house, feed, and give veterinary care to these animals while they are waiting for acceptance to same humane societies. SOS spays and neuters animals before transport and also vaccinates them for communicable diseases and treats them for skin disorders also. These animals come mostly from small communities that have no other recourse than to put them down if not for SOS. This is a win win for both the animal and the cities.
