To promote activities which facilitate persons with disablities in achieving their full and constitutional rights; to promote self and community awareness and understanding of disability in order to achieve an environment free of physical and attitudinal barriers; to carry out such purposes exclusively by supporting the functions of resource center for independent living, inc. and living independently is for everyone at rcil, inc.; to do any other act or thing incidental to or in connection with the foregoing purposes or in advancement thereof, but not for the pecuniary profit or financial gain of the directors or officers.
