Real world learning:the foundation directly supports the real world learning initiative, a regional effort in the kansas city area to ensure all high school students graduate with both a diploma and a "market value asset", an authentic, employer or postsecondary-recognized experience such as an internship, client-connected project, college credit, industry credential, or entrepreneurial experience. The foundation convenes and collaborates with school districts to adopt and scale these immersive learning opportunities by providing planning, implementation, professional learning, and technical-assistance support. Through this initiative, the foundation helps prepare students for meaningful postsecondary and career pathways while fostering collaboration among educators, employers, and community organizations.
