Iowa Police Chiefs Association

The Iowa Police Chiefs Association IPCA works with other statewide law enforcement and public safety associations to promote professional standards within the state of Iowa. Members are encouraged to network throughout the year in addition to attending the quarterly business meetings. Shared concerns experiences and ideas have provided the genesis for effective problem solving. IPCA members are routinely used as a resource by individual cities the Iowa League of Cities the Iowa Legislature the Governors Office the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. IPCA expertise is also sought out by communities across Iowa to assist in the promotion and selection of current and future Police administrators and executives. The conference brings together the States law enforcement executives for networking policy development and review and risk management best practices.
