Augusta DOG Adoptions

As a charitable and benevolent non-profit, non-stock corporation, we function to provide shelter for companion animals, promote the welfare of companion animals through rescue and rehabilitation, to seek to place such animals with persons suitable for caring for the same, to secure veterinary services on behalf of such animals, to euthanize such animals in a humane manner if they, for any reason, cannot be placed in permenant homes in accordance with (section 18.-221) of the code of Virginia, and to do generally any and all lawful acts necessary or proper to carry out this purpose which is generally to prevent cruelty to animals and to relieve suffering among them.
