Chronic stress, whether associated with poverty, violence, fractured families, technology overload, peer pressure or bullying, prevents learning and is a root cause of poor academic performance, and ultimately, negative life outcomes. Wellbeing Action for Youth, inc., a national non-profit organization, is committed to bringing mindfulness practices into every classroom every day to reduce the barriers to learning and teaching, so our young people, families, and communities thrive.
