Research to investigate possible mechanisms of long-range signal propagation in fungal networks, including the role of cytoplasmic streaming, membrane electrophysiology, and extracellular transport processes. In 2024, the Foundation worked with a scientist to test a variety of tools from statistical physics, fluid dynamics, network theory, and machine learning.
