The Savannah Early Childhood foundation will continue to secure funding and community partners, deploying those resources neighborhood-by-neighborhood for at-risk families' parent skills training, tracking and measuring parental knowledge acquisition and application, so parents become their children's first, best and most effective teachers and advocates from birth to age five, with the overall objective of all Savannah children being school-ready (as defined by the Savannah chatham county public school system) at school age. Additionally, elc's are designed with and for parents, to increase neighborhood participations to "critical mas", where attendance and application of training received becomes the community cultural norm, rather than the exception.
