Maui Fair Alliance

The purpose for holding a county fair is to create an annual event at which community, civic, youth and non-profit groups can provide information about their group to the residents of maui county, hawaii. The fair provides a central location at which 1.) agricultural groups, such as 4-h clubs and animal clubs can exhibit livestock and poultry, 2.) flower and crop growers can exhibit orchids and vegetables, 3.) school children can display art work, 4.) community groups can distribute information about their organizations, 5.) venders can display products, 6.) entertainers can perform, 7.) clubs, church groups and youth groups can raise funds for their activities by selling food and drinks, and 8.) governmental departments can provide information to the public about the services the departments provide.
