Rollin Dreams

Rollin' Dreams was created to enrich the lives of teenagers with life-threatening illnesses by providing activities and experiences for them during treatment of illness in order to decrease/combat the feelings of boredom and loneliness.the mission of Rollin' Dreams targets teenagers because the support of other organizations primarily targets younger children. Teenagers typically feel extremely isolated during and after treatment of life-threatening illnesses, as do their siblings since parents must often focus all attention on the sick child.teens, and their siblings, are referred to Rollin' Dreams directly by a hospital social worker. The number of teens undergoing treatment varies each month. In the first four years of operation, Rollin' Dreams served an average of 20 teens per year.Rollin' Dreams referrals come from rocky mountain hospital for children, children's hospital of Denver, and national Jewish hospital, all located in metropolitan Denver, Colorado.
